Joanne is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Education from New York University on a full scholarship. She grew up in Toronto, Canada, and graduated at the top of her class. She has held internships at the World Youth Alliance, and at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
Joanne received a 2350/2400 on the SAT, and 36/36 on the ACT. She has 2 years of experience teaching ACT in Toronto, Canada. Also, she has worked for Kumon International for 2 years teaching students (ages 4-12). She has a perfect score in AP Language & Composition, AP Psychology, and the AP Literature & Composition. She is an expert at helping students achieve the highest standardized test score within a short amount of time.
Stephanie is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science with a focus on International Relations and Public Policy at New York University Shanghai. She has three years experience teaching and tutoring and 8 years of experience working with youth, primarily with students in primary and middle school, in New York City, U.S.A., Buenos Aires, Argentina and Accra, Ghana. She is very comfortable working with students from different backgrounds, having lots of experience with different types of students and being a dual-citizen herself of the United States and Brazil.
She is most experienced in tutoring and teaching English Language Arts and Literature, from primary-level to AP, however also has experience in tutoring primary and middle-school level Mathematics and SAT prep. Stephanie is also an experienced debater and public speaker, with experience in training others in debate and public speaking skills, particularly Model United Nations skills at the High School and University level.
